Our Emergency team is on site 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
Our Emergency veterinarians are available 24/7/365 in the San Francisco and Bay Area. The patients in our ICU are never left unattended and you can rest assured that as your pet recovers, he or she will be cared for at all times. Our team is always available, day or night. We are open on holidays and weekends. If you have a question or a concern, please call or come in.
The team in our critical care departments work in conjunction with other specialists, and with both you and your regular veterinarian, to provide the comprehensive care your pet needs. Our medical team of experienced emergency veterinarians and technicians have extensive training in a complete range of emergency and critical care services. Our doctors regularly attend CE, including monthly rounds and case review as well as national and local conferences, directed at improving and maintaining skills specific to the emergency and critical care field.

Pet-Specific First Aid Kit:
We recommend that you keep a pet-specific first aid kit in your car as a best practice, just as you would a human-first aid kit. Click the link for a printable PDF that you can keep in your kit for when you need to restock.
